Canada vows to keep lying on the news illegal. Reason # 1223 to emigrate.

The scariest thing about this Huffington Post article is realizing that, in America, we don't have this law. Up until 1987 we had the Fairness Doctrine, which Reagan abolished that year....WTF? This means American news corporations can legally lie to you and distort the truth to fit their views. Fair and balanced indeed.

  1. We are conditioned to accept quantity versus quality, with no questions asked. Who is paying to be lied to...we are; we are simply set on our lives of comfort and inconsequence. As long as we don't really have to "earn" the truth, we won't know it when we see it.
